POSITION:Vice President of Marketing and Sales REPORTS TO:President/CEO POSITION SUMMARY: Develop sales strategies for all divisions of the company. Facilitate the selection, acquisition, retention and growth of business partnerships with referral sources. Develop programs and materials that support the name branding for all company divisions. Develop customer relationship management tools that enhance clinical excellence, service quality, communication and community awareness. Oversee all aspects of hiring, retention, training and management of the sales and marketing professionals company-wide. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1.Develop, execute and evaluate strategic marketing plans including tactics designed to meet budgeted admission goals. 2.Develop, train and oversee the sales and marketing team to ensure the admission and community awareness practices of the company are consistently followed. 3.Develop marketing, collateral, promotional items and innovative approaches towards the creation of a unique market identity for the company. 4.Develop, train and oversee the maintenance of an organized approach to territory management via account profiling and routing policies. 5.Develop, train and oversee the execution of the company’s consultative selling strategy to build sustainable relationships with targeted referral customers. 6.Develop sales forecasting models and oversee the strategic planning and analysis for all marketing territories company-wide. 7.Train admission personnel and monitor referral to admission conversion rates on a site, program, divisional and company-wide basis. 8.Develop and monitor clinical training programs for both internal and external use to ensure effective training for clinical personnel and for our referral customers who require inservice education on hospice criteria and eligibility. 9.Develop process and monitor service quality survey results to ensure effective training programs are applied to areas in need of performance improvement. 10.Develop and monitor mechanisms for enhanced company-wide communications. QUALIFICATIONS: 1.10 years sales and marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years senior management experience in either hospice or home health preferred. 2.Experience working with multi-site organizations, preferably in hospice, home health or healthcare. 3.Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications or related field, Master’s degree preferred. 4.Excellent communication, negotiation and public relations skills. 5.Ability to travel as required by position. 6.Track record of sales and revenue growth.
